How does Oathra know my strategy stopped working?
Oathra asks one question of every closed trade: is this robot losing money for longer than chance explains? It shows your live numbers beside the backtest's, each with its margin of error.
It says nothing until it has enough trades to judge. It does not tell you the cause. It shows what changed and what to check first.
Check these first#
- Is the robot linked to a test of its rules? A robot with no test is logged, and gets no reading.
- Has it traded enough yet? Until then the reading is Too early.
- Does it open one position per signal? A robot that trades in baskets, or closes in pieces, reads Can't judge.
The alarm#
Oathra raises one alarm, Below breakeven: the robot has been losing money for longer than chance explains. A robot that earns less than its backtest and still makes money gets no alarm.
How fast#
A robot that already has enough trades gets its first reading as soon as Oathra has read its past trades. That first reading never sends the alarm.
What is tracked#
Logging each robot's trades is free. A robot is tracked when it is linked to a test of its rules.
The limit that applies#
Live tracking against the backtest works on MetaTrader 5 today. More platforms are coming.
