Set your profile and appearance
Moved from the old guide.
On this page
You set your name and avatar, the theme and colors, and the timezone and formats Oathra shows you in Settings.
Profile#
Your basic identity settings. These control how you appear across the platform.
Display Name#
Your name as shown in the AI Coach conversations, notifications, and anywhere your profile appears. You can change this at any time.
Email Address#
The email address tied to your account. It cannot be changed from the settings page. It is the email you signed up with and the one used for all transactional emails (alerts, recaps, billing receipts).
Avatar#
Upload a profile picture or let the system generate initials from your display name. Your avatar appears in the sidebar, AI Coach conversations, and mobile app header.
Appearance#
Customize how Oathra looks and feels. All appearance settings apply across the webapp and are synced to your account.
Theme#
Choose between Dark, Light, or System. System mode follows your operating system preference, switching automatically when your OS toggles between light and dark. Most traders prefer dark mode for reduced eye strain during long sessions.
Accent Color#
Pick an accent color that tints buttons, links, active states, and highlights throughout the interface. The default is cyan. Changing this does not affect chart colors or P&L indicators.
Display Currency#
Set the currency used for displaying monetary values across the platform. All P&L figures, balance totals, and dollar amounts are converted to your chosen display currency using real-time exchange rates. Your actual account currency is unaffected.
P&L Colors#
Two options: Default (green for profit, red for loss) or Colorblind mode. Colorblind mode uses blue for profit and orange for loss, which is easier to distinguish for people with red-green color vision deficiency. This applies everywhere P&L values are color coded.
Language & Region#
Localization settings that control the language, timezone, and formatting used across the platform.
Language#
The site and both apps are in English only.
Timezone#
Set your local timezone. This controls how times are displayed throughout the platform, including trade open/close times, session boundaries, calendar events, and recap schedules. The underlying data is always stored in UTC and converted for display.
Date Format#
Choose between DD/MM/YYYY (day first, common in Europe and most of the world) or MM/DD/YYYY (month first, common in the US). This applies everywhere dates are shown.
Number Format#
Controls decimal and thousands separators. For example, one thousand and fifty cents can be displayed as 1,000.50 (period decimal, common in English-speaking countries) or 1.000,50 (comma decimal, common in continental Europe). Pick whichever feels natural to you.
