One hour of one processor core working on your strategy. Forge uses many cores at once, so a test that finishes in a few minutes of real time can still spend more than one CPU-hour. A full strategy test — thousands of parameter combinations, each one validated end to end — averages about 1.3 CPU-hours, because most combinations are eliminated early and never reach the expensive checks. That puts Edge at roughly four full tests a month, Desk at fifteen and Scale at forty-six. Quick single-parameter checks cost a small fraction of a full test, and your Forge page shows hours used and hours remaining at all times.

Most journal backtesting is trade replay — you click through bars and watch what would have happened. Forge runs the statistics that tell you whether a result is real: probability of backtest overfitting (PBO/CSCV), Deflated and Probabilistic Sharpe, and parameter-plateau stability. It models measured hourly spread from tick data and your broker’s actual swap, so the equity curve is not free money. When a strategy does not survive, Forge says so.

Credits pay for AI Coach messages. Each message costs credits based on how much work it actually took — a quick question costs the minimum, a long deep-analysis answer costs more. Every model has a floor and a hard ceiling per message, so one reply can never drain your balance. Monthly credits reset each billing cycle. Top-up packs start at $5 for 50 credits and never expire.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never access your broker credentials — the EA only reads trade data and sends it to our servers. We cannot place, modify, or close trades on your account (unless you enable EA Alert Actions).

Yes. Cancel from your Billing settings. Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, you’re downgraded to Starter. Your data is retained for 90 days in case you re-subscribe.
