What does Oathra do?

On this page
  • Test, and check against prop firm rules
  • Run it on your own platform
  • Track it live
  • Guardian
  • What Oathra does not do
  • What it costs
  • The rest

Oathra is a strategy tester and live tracker for trading robots. Oathra connects MetaTrader 4 and 5 accounts today, and more platforms are coming. Live tracking against the backtest works on MetaTrader 5 today.

Test, and check against prop firm rules#

In Forge, Oathra's strategy tester, you enter a robot's entry and exit rules once. Forge backtests them on your own price history and checks them against prop firm rules.

Read more: How the test works and The prop firm check.

Run it on your own platform#

Your robot keeps running on your own platform. The Oathra EA sends your account number, broker, server, balance and trades to Oathra. It opens an order only when you send one from Oathra. It closes one only on your command, or when a Guardian close-out you switched on fires. Placing orders through Oathra needs the signed Oath. Oathra never asks for your broker password.

Read more: Connecting MetaTrader.

Track it live#

On MetaTrader 5 accounts today, Oathra sets a linked robot's live results beside its backtest and raises one alarm from tracking, Below breakeven: the robot has been losing money for longer than chance explains. Tracking is on the paid plan. Tracking gives its first reading after 20 live trades and 14 days.

Guardian#

Guardian tracks your limits and warns you before one is crossed, on both plans. On the paid plan Guardian can close positions when a limit is crossed, if you switch that on. By default it closes only positions opened through Oathra, so a robot's own trades stay open. It closes a robot's trades only if you allow it to close every open position on the account. Guardian does not stop a robot.

What Oathra does not do#

Oathra tests a robot's rules, not its file. Oathra does not run a robot for you, sell robots or give signals. A test that passes is not a promise that a prop firm challenge will pass.

What it costs#

The free plan is $0 and logs one account. A backtest spends credits on both plans, and a first test on your own price history needs storage, which the free plan does not include. Storage starts at 40 credits a month. The paid plan is $29 a month and adds the verdict on every test and live tracking on MetaTrader 5 accounts today. The paid plan is coming soon. You cannot upgrade yet.

The rest#

Oathra also has a trade journal, reports and an AI Coach for the accounts you connect. Exporting your own data is on both plans. The site and both apps are in English only. Phone app: Coming soon. Oathra is made by BacktestPro LLC.
